Diagnostic Experience on A Case of anomalous Origin of the Left Coronary Artery from the Pulmonary Artery (Bland-white-Garland syndrome)

Abstract
The anomalous origin of the left coronary artery from the pulmonary artery is a rare congenital cardiac anomaly. We report one case of the anomalous origin of the left coronary artery from the pulmonary artery. She was 34 year-old who was suffered from acute pyelonephritis. Physical exam revealed only systolic and diastolic murmur on pulmonic area. Chest PA and EKG showed no abnormalities. Heart echo showed an atypical large left coronary ostium in short axis view. There was about 7% difference in oxygen saturation between the right ventricle and the main pulmonary artery on the candiac catheterization. The left coronary artery originated from the main pulmonary artery without other cardiac anomaly on cineangiography.
